Maybe it’s time to slow down.
To not rush.
And put in the energy to breathe.
Nothing demanding, just taking a breath.
And reflect on how often we get washed away.
Oh, you see a small success? Forget everything and go all in on that route.
Euphoria.
Oh, you see a dismay? I am a total failure.
But how often do we truly listen to our souls?

Forget the mind that analyses and chooses the path of least trouble. Forget the heart that is blind to the world outside.
Listen to your soul. And what it might want to tell you.
If you take a moment to listen, there you don’t find any direction to go after. There you don’t see decisions to be taken—one or the other. There you don’t see convincing commands to follow that are always subtly biased. There you don’t see any multiple-choice scenarios and certainly, no answer will come to the surface.
All you find there is stillness. An unfamiliar silence that’s somehow uniquely resonating.
It doesn’t tell you what to do or not to do. It asks you to slow down.
It demands nothing but a gentle reminder to reflect.
The soul has nothing to say. Nothing to ask for. And it seeks nothing. All it demands is a time to stay still. To not move.
In a world ruled by rushing emotions, and even rushing perceptions, it reminds us to slow down. To reflect. To understand.
It might not be practical in this age of stimuli that demand an immediate response, but at least a few minutes a day, set aside to disconnect from the rush of the world, and slowing down can make a huge difference.
You may not find all the answers you are looking for.
But at least you'll learn to ask the right questions.
