I hope you don't turn bitter as life moves through.

It's very easy (and tempting) to react to the negativity life throws at you. But I hope you don't overlook the people who are quietly loving while you get consumed by the malice.

Yes, they're not aware of what is stifling you. And it's better to explain your despair truthfully than to project your inner turmoil.

You understand that reacting with emotion isn't always the best way, as you know it makes things worse.

I was there not too long ago, being disturbed by the noise around me, forcing me to find a signal in the chaos.

But in reality, I was searching for something that did not exist—an illusion of clarity.

Then I realized something that showed me the light.

And I doubt if I'd ever go back to a similar mental space that used to stifle me.

And that is humility.

It's by owning that fact that I might not be fully informed to arrive at a conclusion.

And being okay sitting with it. To not force myself to make sense of it all.

And that humility will take you a long way.

I realized,

“The fastest gateway to healing is humility.”

And it takes a higher self to remain humble.

And to not turn bitter.

And I really hope you don't turn bitter as life moves through.

Thanks for staying with me.
